Objectives of the Civil Engineering Program
Department of Civil Engineering aims to become a unique and leading institution of higher learning, offering state-of-the-art education, research, and training in technology in the field of Civil Engineering. The broad objective of the department is to achieve international recognition for excellence in research and teaching, such that it is ranked as the top Civil Engineering Department in the country and, thus, it becomes the top choice of graduate students for higher education and of prospective faculty for their careers.
Description of the Program
Civil Engineers make, improve, and ensure the environment wherein we live. Civil Engineering is an expert designing control that arrangements with the plan, development, and support of the physical and normally assembled environment, including public works like streets, spans, waterways, dams, air terminals, pipelines, segments of structures, railways, water, and sewerage frameworks. Students of the Civil Engineering Department will contribute to developing our entire communication system with the help of modern tools and advanced knowledge will be gathered from ACI, ASTM, IS, BS, WHO, and BNBC standards. The aim of the Department of Civil Engineering (CE) is to enable innovation through research and advance educational programs in Civil Engineering related fields.
